The inner Galactic globular clusters

Although most globular clusters in the Milky Way are inside the solar circle, the presence of large extinction and the high density of field stars in the lines of sight towards the Galactic bulge have seriously hampered the studies of globular clusters located towards the inner Galaxy. In my talk I will present a series of different novel approaches that we are developing and using to extract the relevant information about the physical parameters of these objects. I will also show interesting by-products of these analyses that can allow us to better understand the characteristics of the interstellar medium in the low-latitude lines of sight towards these clusters.
