Modern astronomy is a data-intensive science that requires the analysis of large volume archives. An important aspect of understanding the observations is to ask science-driven questions andto look for the answers through the statistical analysis and visualization of data. This data analytics often relies on different procedures of data cleaning, imputation and encoding.
In these hands-on sessions, we will explore workflows to analyze data and report results.
Session 1) Data analysis. Big data and scalability.
Session 2) Data reporting. Tools for reproducibility. Experiment registration. Publication ready plots, visualization tips and tricks

Minimum requirements: Basic python and statistics.
