Stay Healthy

The city of Córdoba has seen an increase in DENGUE fever cases in the last couple of months.
Although the LOC is taking all measures to help reduce the mosquito population in the surroundings of the meeting venue and within the auditorium itself, we hope that participants take their own measures to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes.

  • Use mosquito repellent and reapply every 4 hours.
  • Wear protective clothing (long-sleeve shirts and long trousers) and light-coloured clothing.

Symptoms can include:

  • Sudden high fever plus any of the following:
  • Headache and pain behind the eyes.
  • Joint and muscle pain.
  • Rashes and skin spots.
  • Gums, nose and eye bleeding.
  • Nausea and vomiting.
  • Fatigue.

If you feel ill or with symptoms please let the members of the LOC know and we will help you toget medical assistance.

RECOMMENDATION: Due to the lack of repellents in supermarkets and pharmacies, we recommend that you do not wait until you arrive in Córdoba to buy repellents. Whenever possible, bring your repellent from home.
